Kanye premieres “Cruel Summer” short film in Cannes
Earlier tonight/today (depending on where you are on Earth right now), Kanye West finally premiered his short film “Cruel Summer”, which is a visual representation of the G.O.O.D. Music album that’s dropping this Summer. According to tweets from Logan Hill (GQ Editor), this is the pitch:
”It’s the story of a Lamborghini car thief (Cudi) who falls in love with a blind Arabic girl. The girl’s father will let them marry if Cudi can make her see again. He does, using strings that lead her around the Palace (= synesthesia)”
Seems pretty interesting, knowing Cudi is the main character in the film. Kanye said he’ll be bringing the film to NYC, Qatar, Boston… and the whole World. We can’t wait ! The screening will be followed by a G.O.O.D. Music concert at a club in Cannes later tonight.
